It is known as the desert of Marrakesh where locals and tourist visit to relax and enjoy the silence of the desert. Besides, the Agafay desert is the perfect place for a camel ride or quad ride experiences and family excursions. The desert of Agafay presents a majestic view of wildflowers and barley. Yet, in summer and autumn, it becomes a barren desert of rocky dunes. Therefore, the day trip from Marrakech to Agafat starts after breakfast at your accommodation.
With our local and professional driver, you will travel through the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages. Then, you will discover oases, Takerkoust Lake and barren alleys before arriving in the desert of Agafay. It is possible to change this program if you want to spend a night in one of the camps there. on the way to Kik Plateau, you will also enjoy passing through wheat fields and villages. After that, you travel deep the Atlas Moutain to visit its villages and Berber Souks then visit Toubkal National Park. Finally, you drive back to Marrakech from another route.
