We meet you at your accommodation and start our desert tour. The tour will leave Fes after breakfast to the Sahara. We drive to Ifrane and Cedars Forest through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Thus, you visit the Swiss town of Ifrane and enjoy wild apes in the Forest. Secondly, we drive via Azrou village towards Midelt and Ziz Valley. There is a lunch break in the village and a panoramic in the Valley. The landscapes changes from Ziz Valley along the way to Merzouga. This region is famous for palm grove and traditional house. You will be welcomed with a mint tea at your accommodation and enjoy time and night there.
After breakfast, we take you for a tour into the Sahara. We will go around the desert areas the dunes. We first start our desert tour by a visit to the Gnawa people who live in Khamlia. There, you enjoy traditional music that originates from Mali. You then discover the hard work of mine of Mifis and visit Nomads. They live near the border between the Sahara and Algerian country. You will witness the border and the whole desert view. After all that, you ride camels via the dunes to spend a night in the camp. There will be drum music around the fire after local dinner.
This last day of 3 days tour from Fes will be in Fes. Hence, you wake up early today to watch the sunrise over the Sahara. Then we leave Sahara after breakfast. On the way to Fes, you have an opportunity to enter a traditional market smells of spices in Rissani town. Moreover, we stop in one of the Fossil museums in Erfoud. You figure out many types of fossils and learn about geological trips in this area. Thereafter, we drive back to Fes in the same way. We will stop in the same sites to enjoy and relax before we arrive in Fes.
