We reach our accommodation for a night, including dinner.
We will keep 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes to the dunes of Merzouga today. Firstly, we visit the Palmeraie area that offers thousands of palm trees. Moreover, we stop in Todra Gorges and walk through its high rocks.
Secondly, we drive via Tinjdad and visit Touroug village and pass by Erfoud to Merzouga. I the desert of Merzouga, you will enjoy a camel ride through the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi. And you watch the sunset behind the desert. At night in the desert camp, you enjoy local dinner and music around the fire.

The excursion itself was also really nice. A bit touristy, but overall it was a great trip. It's a long journey, so be prepared for it. Merzouga was pretty cool. We camped in the dunes with (former) Berber nomads (at least ours were). They were younger and were really inspirational. They learn different languages just from the tourists who come and go. | I highly recommend this excursion. Safe and reliable (which can be difficult sometimes when you are in Morocco.)
