Our private 4 days tour begins in Marrakesh towards the Merzouga desert via the High Atlas Mountains. Thus, we drive through the Tizi n´Tichka Pass and make a few stops to admire Berber villages and views. We then visit Ait Ben Haddou on our way to Ouarzazate. It is a famous Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
It is also a popular tourist destination for tours or days trips from Marrakech. Several common movies have been shot there, including Gladiator, Obelix and The Mummy. Secondly, we continue our trip along the road of a thousand kasbahs. Finally, we visit M’Gouna town to explore rose products and drive to Dades Valley. A night will be in a cosy accommodation with dinner.
After breakfast, we continue 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Thus, you will explore the rock formation called “Monkey Fingers” and afterwards, we move to Todra Gorges. It is a popular location where you will walk through the red cliffs at300 m high.
Secondly, we continue to Jorf to visit its traditional irrigation system and drive to Erfoud. This town is famous for fossil products and date fruits. We will visit some of the fossil factories and drive to Rissani. Besides, we pass this town to reach the Merzouga desert. Finally, we prepare for a camel trekking trip. You will explore the desert dunes and enjoy the sunset view. Then, you enjoy the Berber music around the campfire. A night is in desert tents.
You will experience an early sunrise and views today. Thereafter, you enjoy a shower and breakfast in the camp. Secondly, we pick you up by 4×4 to explore Merzouga desert destinations. In addition to that, you experience off-driving with exciting moments. Thus, you will visit Khamlia Village where to enjoy Gnawa music. Besides, you visit Sahrij Lake, home to different birds.
Furthermore, you discover an old site of mines of Mifis. Also, you visit nomads and experience Berber pizza. Finally, we drive you back to the town to check into your accommodation. The dinner and breakfast are included there as well.
On this last day of 4 days tour from Marrakech, we drive on a different road to Marrakech. Hence, we drive to Rissani and select the way towards Draa Valley. Lunch will be in Agdze and explore the longest river in Morocco and the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Secondly, we drive to visit Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate.
Finally, we cross the Tizi’N’Tikka pass to Marrakech. We will drop you off at your accommodation. And then we end 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
